The Syrian opposition's chief negotiator in UN-brokered peace talks, Mohamed Alloush said he asked the main opposition High Negotiations Committee (HNC) to accept his resignation, adding my resignation does not mean the opposition's withdrawal from the peace talks in Geneva.
In exclusive statements to "Al Arabiya Al Hadath" channel on Monday, Alloush said that HNC chairman Riad Hijab did not yet accept his resignation, stressing that he would not accept any pressure on the opposition delegation to make concessions.
Alloush announced his resignation on Sunday, citing the failure of the Geneva peace negotiations.
