A Cairo court of cassation upheld during a session on Tuesday under counselor Mohamed Abu Zeid Hammouda a verdict issued by the court of appeal sentencing a former lawmaker to four months in prison.
The lawmaker, Ali Wanis, who was a member of the dissolved People's Assembly, was convicted of committing obscene acts inside a car on a public road during the era of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood rule with a university female student called Nesrine, who was also sentenced to three months in prison.
He was also charged with insulting a policeman when he tried to arrest both of them.
