President Abdul Fatah el-Sisi of Egypt this morning received President of Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), Shaikh Mai bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, and discussed boosting cultural cooperation.
The meeting focused on the role of the Arab Regional Centre for World Heritage (ARC-WH) in assigning experts to inspect endangered world heritage, including a French expert to follow up the preservation of the St. Mark Coptic Cathedral which was bombed last year.
The BACA President welcomed the Egyptian President in Bahrain and emphasized keenness on enhancing cultural cooperation with Egypt, noting Egypt’s role in defending Arab’s national achievements.
She hailed the progressing cultural relations and the Egyptian cultural presence in the Bahraini cultural scene
