Bahrain Journalists Association (BJA) strongly denounced the attempt of Qatari channel Al-Jazeera to fabricate the editorial of the 469th edition of Bahraini Al-Naba newspaper, which was published on July 5, by deliberately manipulating the content to disclose misleading and baseless fallacies.
BJA pointed out that what is being broadcast by Al-Jazeera asserts day after day the continued misinformation policy followed for more than two decades and the channel’s dubious attempts to split the peoples of the region by inciting division and funding terrorism. The association noted that Al-Jazeera has adopted such policy since the mid nineties of last century while ignoring the ethics of media work by fabricating news lacking credibility and aiming to achieve suspicious ends.
BJA underlined full support to Al-Naba newspaper, lauding its editorial policy and patriotic approach. It also called on all national mass media to beware plots against Bahrain to shake its stability, pointing out the importance of social and media awareness of the conspiracies against Bahrain, describing it as the bulwark for security and stability.
