His Highness Shaikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, ordered on Tuesday the release of 422 prisoners serving terms at various reformative and punitive institutions in the emirate of Dubai. The benevolent gesture comes to mark the occasion of Eid-al-Adha. Dubai Attorney General Esam Eissa Al Humaidan said that the Public Prosecution had immediately started the legal procedures to implement the order so that the prisoners of different nationalities could be released before the day of Eid. The Attorney General thanked Sheikh Mohammed for his noble initiative and urged the released prisoners to lead their lives adhering to religious and moral values.
