Minister of Human Rights Affairs, Dr. Salah bin Ali Abdulrahman, received today the French Republic's Ambassador in the Kingdom of Bahrain Mr. Christian Testot. He welcomed the French Ambassador, underlining solid historic bilateral relations between the two friendly countries. Dr. Salah Ali voiced Bahrain’s keen interest to boost bilateral cooperation, mainly in the legal aspects and to enhance Bahrain’s administrative and institutional know-how and enrich its experience in the legal field. The Minister cited plans and strategies drawn in order to spread the culture of human rights which sit on the ministry’s top priority. Both sides highlighted the importance of dialogue in which partake all members of the community in order to reach common solutions. Dr. Salah Ali said that the doors for dialogue have always been open and never been closed because the government strongly backs dialogue to come up with solutions which satisfy all sides. The French Ambassador pointed out that there are many opportunities to enhance bilateral cooperation particularly in the human rights field.
