Bahrain has welcomed the liberation of the Syrian city of Raqqa from Daesh, affirming that the achievement is an important step on the path of the fight against terrorism towards elimination of all extremist and terrorist organizations in Syria and the region as a whole.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that “Bahrain looks forward to reaching a political solution that preserves Syria’s unity and territorial integrity, puts an end to foreign interference in the country’s internal affairs and ensures security and peace for all brotherly Syrians.”
