Bahrain has condemned in the strongest terms the terror attack in Egypt’s Minya province that resulted in scores of deaths and injuries.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs extends its condolences to the families of the victims and wishes of speedy recovery to the injured in this criminal act targeting innocent people and putting their lives at risk,” the ministry said in a statement.
“The Kingdom of Bahrain stresses its full solidarity with the Arab Republic of Egypt and expresses its support in confronting terrorism and tackling all forms of violence and extremism. Bahrain also supports Egypt against any threats to its stability and the security of its people and residents and stresses that such despicable acts will never succeed in dividing the brotherly people of Egypt or undermine its unity and stability.”
Bahrain reiterated its rejection of terrorism regardless of its motives and sources and calls for international cooperation to eliminate it and dry up its funding sources.
