Bahrain tonight strongly condemned the brutal Israel attack which targeted Gaza Strip, leaving several people dead and injured, wreaking havoc on houses and properties and endangering innocent lives. In a statement issued tonight, the Kingdom extended heartfelt condolences to the victims’ families, the Palestinian people and leadership, wishing the injured quick recovery. The statement reiterated Bahrain’s principled and firm stance regarding Palestine -the first Arab Cause – calling on the international community to halt the Israeli recurrent and unjustified assault on Gaza. The statement also warned against the detrimental repercussions of the Israeli aggression on Mideast security and stability, urging the UN Security Council to undertake the necessary practical steps to avert any future recurrent Israeli attacks on Gaza Strip.
