The delegations welcomed the UNESCO decision to set up a fact-finding commission to investigate the untenable situation in Al-Quds and all other Israeli repressive the occupation of the city in 1967. The ambassadors decided to task the Arab group in New York to seek a UN resolution condemning systematic Israeli assaults on Al-Aqsa mosque and the Palestinian people reeling under the yoke of the Israeli occupation.
