A delegation from the Arab Parliament (AP), led by Speaker Dr. Mishaal bin Fahm Al-Salami, and including most AP members, will arrive here on Sunday.
The visit is at the invitation of the Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla, and is expected to continue until May 24.
Aiming to consolidate Arab cooperation and enhancing joint Arab action, the AP delegation’s visit will discuss coordination between the Council of Representatives and the Arab Parliament to serve the kingdom’s aspirations for strengthening its stances at regional and international gatherings.
Representatives Council Speaker will hold talks with his AP counterpart, in the presence of AP members.
AP speaker will deliver a speech during the regular weekly session of the Council of Representatives on May 23.
He will also hold meetings with officials from the Legislative and Executive branches.
