The Arab League Council at the level of foreign ministers reiterated its continued support for the constitutional legitimacy in Yemen, led by President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi support. The Council stressed at the end of its extraordinary session here today, that any consultations or negotiations should proceed from the GCC initiative and its executive mechanisms as well as the outputs of the comprehensive national dialogue conference and UN Security Council related resolutions, particularly resolution No. 2216 . 
   The Council also stressed in this regard, on the agreed terms of reference including the five points presented by UN envoy for Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, general framework and joint committees , that the priority is for the withdrawal of militias from different regions, cities and hand over weapons and the evacuation of state institutions. 
   The Council stressed the necessity and importance of the commitment of the coup militias assurances given by UN envoy at the meeting which took place in Doha between HH the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, and Yemeni President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi and the Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon. 
   The Council decided to support the Yemeni government's efforts, praising at the same time the efforts of the Arab coalition countries in the fight against terrorism and the cooperation of the Arab coalition and the government of Yemen to root out the menace of terrorism in Mukalla city, and the role of the alliance in restoring security and stability and to support the constitutional legitimacy in Yemen. 
The Arab League Council also reiterated support to the French initiative for peace in the Middle East and all efforts to expand the international participation to resolve the Palestinian cause. 

The Council also stated support to the forthcoming international peace conference, slated for June 3 in Paris, the Council said in its resolution entitled "diplomatic moves regarding the Palestinian cause". 

It stressed the importance of establishing a multilateral process with the aim of ending the Israeli occupation and establishing an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem. 

The Council rejected of the so-called "transitional solutions" and "a state with temporary borders", reiterating its disapproval of Israel as a legitimate Jewish state, and rejection of Israel's "apartheid policy," urging the international community to force Israel to commit to the international legitimacy resolutions and the UN Charter and stop violating international laws. 

It also reiterated its full support and solidarity with the Palestinian people, noting that achieving a comprehensive and fair peace is by ending the Israeli occupation of all Palestinian and Arab territories, including the Syrian Golan, and enabling the Palestinian people from practicing their full rights, including determining their fate and establishing their independent state. The Arab League Council, at the level of foreign ministers, on Saturday rejected any military intervention in Libya, for the "grave consequences on the country and the entire region." It also called for no intervention in Libya's internal affairs- including supplying armed groups with weapons - and urged refraining from the use of the media to incite violence or undermine the political process there The Council also called for providing political and moral support to the "only legitimate government" in Libya, as well as assistance for qualifying and activating the country's security, military and civilian institutions. 

The Council also stressed the necessity of commitment to the relevant UNSC resolutions, the last of which were 2259/2015 and 2278/2016, and welcomed the outcome of the Ministerial Meeting for Libya Joint Communique, Vienna May 16, and the 8th ministerial meeting of Libya's neighboring countries held in March.
