Ahmed Abul-Gheit, Arab League Secretary-General, has condemned the series of attacks in Baghdad, which killed and injured a number of people.
In a press statement yesterday, Mr. Abul-Gheit said that attempts by Daesh to create insecurity in Iraq will fail in the end. He added that Daesh has no place in Arab countries and is rejected by international governments.
He said that the Arab League stands by the Iraqi government and its people in their fights against terrorism.
