The Arab League chief\'s visit to Damascus is set for Saturday, September 10, Deputy Secretary- General of the Arab League Ambassador Ahmed Ben Helli said here on Wednesday. The Arab Secretary-General Dr. Nabil Al Araby and the Syrian Foreign Minister discussed this issue during a phone conversation today, Ben Helli said, adding that Dr. Al Araby also met here with Ambassador Youssef Ahmad, Syria\'\'s Permanent Representative to the Arab League. Syria on Tuesday asked the Arab League Secretary General to postpone his visit to Damascus, scheduled for today, for objective reasons. During the visit, Al Araby will brief the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on the Arab initiative to solve the crisis in Syria in implementation of the special meeting of Arab Foreign Ministers held in Cairo, on August 27.
