Arab League Chief Dr. Nabil Al Arabi is to proceeds to damascus tomorrow, Saturday, for a visit to Syria to convey to the Syrian leadership the Arab Initiative designed to resolve the Syrian crisis . The mission came in implementation of a resolution the arab foreign ministers adopted during their emergency meeting held in Cairo on August 26th. An Arab League official source told Qatar News Agency (QNA) correspondent in the Egyptian capital that during the visit, Al Arabia will meet with Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad and Foreign Minister Dr. Walid Al Muallem . The Arab Foreign Ministers agreed to dispatch Dr. Al Arabi with the Arab Initiative they agreed upon to resolve the crisis in that strife-torn Arab country. The Arab Foreign Ministers also called for \"respect for the right of the Syrian people to live in security and their legitimate aspirations for political and social reforms\". The Arab League said Syria\'\'s stability was crucial to the whole region. Syria said last week that an August 27 statement passed by Arab League foreign minister on the country\'\'s bloodshed contained \"unacceptable and biased language\", leaving Al Arabi to await a green light for a proposed visit. Arab League official diplomatic sources said the 14-item initiative prepared by the arab foreign ministers , includes a Pan-Arab vision to tackle the Syrian crisis within the arab context. Al Arabia was supposed to visit Damascus last Wednesday but the visit was delayed at Syria\'\'s request for reasons it conveyed to the Arab League.
