The Al Majd Party chose the city of Hammam-Chatt (southern suburb of Tunis) to start their campaign for the elections of the Constituent Assembly, thus wishing to commemorate the 26th anniversary of the Israeli raid on The Palestine Liberation Organisation (PLO) headquarters there. At a meeting held last Saturday, Party leader Abdelwahab Hani also suggested the creation of a museum for Tunisian-Palestinian memory in the region. Mr. Abdelwahab Hani called as well for the holding of presidential elections next January 15 and for completing the complementary state budget ahead of next March 20. Besides, he insisted on the need to set up transitional justice institutions to secure the recovery of rights and embezzled funds.
