Two societies backed security, cultural and intellectual efforts undertaken by the Kingdom of Bahrain to root out the scourge of terrorism, in accordance with the law.
Al-Eslah Society and Al-Minbar National Islamic Society reiterated support to the legitimate constitutional rule and the leadership of Bahrain.
In a joint statement, they commended the strenuous efforts led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to unify the stances of all Islamic states that attended the Riyadh summit, which isolated the Iranian regime and laid bare its terrorist and sectarian-tainted tactics in the international arena.
They affirmed commitment to moderate Islamic thought which, they said, steered many young people away from the scourges of extremism and terrorism.
The two associations reiterated, as representatives of moderate Islam, their commitment to the national policy in the framework of the constitution and the law, pledging to always work strenuously and confront all forms of extremism, putting vital national interests above all other considerations.
They stressed their dedicated work, in tandem with other official and non-governmental parties, to develop the homeland and cement national unity, reiterating unwavering support to the Arabian Gulf unity and belonging the Arab and Islamic nations.
In the statement, Al-Eslah said that it has always been at the forefront in defending the homeland and taking part in all initiatives that serve national interests, citing its participation in drafting the National Action Charter, as part of the reform project led by His Majesty the King.
They two societies cited their contribution to the establishment of the National Unity Assembly (NUA) to thwart the sectarian-tainted plot to destabilize the country.
