ADNOC Distribution, the sole distributor of petroleum products in the Emirate of Sharjah through its comprehensive service station network, has announced the further consolidation of its presence in the Emirate with the opening of Al Meedan Service Station.
Located on Al Zahra Street adjacent to Government House Square in Sharjah, the new facility is part of the company’s continuous commitment to meet the growing demand for its high-quality products and services across the UAE.
The latest addition to ADNOC Distribution’s network takes the total number of ADNOC Distribution service stations in Sharjah to 89.
ADNOC Distribution’s service station network in Sharjah currently receives over 250,000 vehicles daily. The network offers a wide range of high-quality products and integrated services and facilities, including refueling, car wash, oil change, and shopping at ADNOC Oasis convenience stores.
Saeed Mubarak Al Rashdi, Acting Chief Executive Officer of ADNOC Distribution, said, "The opening of Al Meedan Service Station in Sharjah is the latest stage in our strategic drive to expand and consolidate the presence of ADNOC Distribution’s service station network across the country. The new opening also demonstrates our commitment to supporting the rapid development of our country through the provision of services to expanding urban and infrastructure projects."
Al Rashdi added, "As the exclusive distributor of petroleum products in a dynamic and rapidly growing region such as Sharjah, ADNOC Distribution is determined to secure its market position through sustained hard work and a proactive approach. In expanding our geographical footprint and providing our customers with best-in-class products and services that meet their evolving needs, we are continuing to strive to achieve the best results."
In 2016, ADNOC Distribution completed the implementation of the asset transfer agreement signed with Emirates National Oil Company, ENOC. As part of the agreement, the company reopened 20 non-operational service stations in different part of Sharjah, thereby strengthening its service station network in the emirate.
