Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met on Sunday with Syrian Foreign Minister Adel Safar, who is currently visiting UAE to discuss the latest developments in Syria. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed said that UAE backs the stability of Syria and understands the necessity of moving past the crisis on the political and economic front. He said that the UAE follows \"with great interest\" the latest developments in Syria proceeding from the UAE commitment to the good of Syria and its people. Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported that the Crown Prince stressed on the importance of reform and stability, adding that the two are closely connected. He said that the Arab role must be active in dealing with the crises facing the Arab world to provide stability .
