The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued today a number of royal orders as follows:
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued a royal order amending the name of "The Bureau of Investigation and Public Prosecution " to be "the Public Prosecution" and its chairman shall be called the "Public Prosecutor".
The Public Prosecution is directly linked to the King, enjoys full independence, and no one shall interfere in its work.
The Bureau of Experts of the Cabinet in conjunction with relevant authorities shall review the regulations of The Bureau of Investigation and Public Prosecution, the code of criminal procedures, other regulations and relevant royal orders, propose amendments in accordance with this order and submit the outcomes within a period not exceeding ninety days from its date in order to complete the necessary legal procedures.
