Two people were killed and six injured on Monday in a road accident near Ramallah, police said. Two cars and a motorcycle collided on the main road between Ramallah and Nablus, traffic police director Mansour Daraghma told Ma'an. Daraghma said ambulances took the victims to hospitals, while civil defense forces extinguished a fire that erupted in both cars. He added that the accident happened shortly before the Iftar meal to break the daily fast during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. Police have opened an investigation into the accident.
