The 38-year-old is dreaming of Champions League glory for his former side, and feels that the key to success will be bravery as the German giants visit the Santiago Bernabeu.Alexander Zickler has urged former club Bayern Munich to be fearless when they take on Real Madrid in Wednesday\'s Champions League semi-final second-leg clash.Jupp Heynckes\' side put themselves on the front foot to qualify for the final following a 2-1 win in the first leg, and Zickler feels it is most important that they defend their advantage.\"I think it\'s important to keep a clean sheet. That is always difficult to do against a team that consist of so many world-class players. It is almost impossible to focus only on one,\" he exclusively told Goal.com.However, the former striker insisted that Bayern must stick to their strengths and footballing philosophy.\"Bayern should try to play their own game. They are very well staffed in attack and are always good for a goal. They should try to hold Madrid, and not be afraid.\"Seven among Jupp Heynckes\' side are just one booking away from earning a suspension. However, Zickler feels that these players will have to play as normal and give everything possible to advance.\"You have to think from game to game and not to the final. First they have to survive in Madrid. When it comes to a tricky situation where, for example, a tactical foul is necessary to prevent a counter, then you have to bite the bullet,\" he said.\"In the game, everything happens so fast hat the players will have no time to think about such things. Everyone will have to give everything, even if it risks not being in the final.\"The 38-year-old won the Champions League with Bayern in 2001, the last time the German giants lifted Europe\'s most prestigious club trophy. And when asked to compare that team with the current, he had compliments for both.\"I think that it\'s difficult to make the comparison. Looking at both sides, I must admit that the team today have more quality. In terms of teamwork and cohesion I see our team [from 2001] as a bit stronger.\"With the Champions League final set to be held on Bayern\'s home soil at the Allianz Arena, Zickler is relishing the prospect of his former club booking a date with Chelsea.\"For my Bayern to be in the final in their own stadium is a bit of a dream for me. I hope that we will celebrate Bayern being the new Champions League winners. Form on the day will decide the final, because there will be no more favourites.\"Kick-off from the Santiago Bernabeu for the semi-final second leg is scheduled for 20.45CET.
