Schweinsteiger: I\'m fit and ready

Germany midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger has given head coach Joachim Low a major boost ahead of UEFA EURO 2012 by revealing he has shaken off a calf complaint. Schweinsteiger was a worry for the EURO after struggling with the injury, but he returned to full training on Monday with the rest of the national side. And the 27-year-old has suffered no reaction, telling dfb.de: "I'm fine. It's fun to play with such a team." Schweinsteiger, looking to add to his 90 caps for Germany, missed the opening warm-up defeat against Switzerland two weeks ago due to the injury after linking up with the squad following Bayern Munich's UEFA Champions League defeat against Chelsea. Germany arrived in Poland ahead of the European finals on Monday and will remain in the country despite all three group matches being held in Ukraine.
