The Eindhoven side\'s head coach has admitted that things were not easy for his men but was pleased that they still bagged all three points.PSV coach Fred Rutten has expressed his delight with his side\'s 2-0 Eredivisie win in Sunday\'s away game against NEC.The Eindhoven giants struggled to break through their opponent\'s defence, but late goals from Zakaria Labyad and Tim Matavz helped them secure the full three points.\"I am a happy manager. We got off to a decent start but then we had some sloppy moments and sometimes made the wrong choices. We were lucky not to be trailing 1-0 at half-time, although [Georginio] Wijnaldum hit the inside of the post,\" Rutten said on the official PSV website. \"After the break we tried to dominate possession and were lucky to snatch a late win and take the three points.\"Rutten then stated that he was particularly pleased with the win as the club\'s European exploits are beginning to have a detrimental effect on their performances. \"We can learn a few things from this game,\" he added. \"The exertions in Europe began to take their toll and some of the players find it hard to cope with playing so many games in quick succession. But the team is making progress and I’m happy with this afternoon’s victory. \"How could I not be happy after we snatched all three points in the closing stages? We are satisfied with the results amongst a hectic fixture schedule.\"PSV have climbed to second position in the table with 17 points from eight matches.
