Nevertheless, a move to the Premier League seems unlikely at this stage as Eriksen is not attracted by the physicality of the football in England. \"I don’t know yet where I will end up, but the Spanish league suits my style of play better. You get to see a lot of the ball and have the chance to create something,\" Eriksen said to Goal.com. \"There are fewer duels and fights for the ball than in the Premier League. Of course I can develop into a more physical player later in my career, but at this point I think that Spain would be better for me.\" The Denmark international then voiced his opinion that Ajax are the perfect club for youngsters, as several stars of the game kick-started their careers at the Amsterdam ArenA, before adding that he will not hesitate to grab the chance to move to a bigger club at the right moment. \"Are Ajax a stepping stone to a bigger club? I think so, yes. If you are one of the best players here and do really well, then you’ll get the chance to move to a bigger club. \"It’s obviously not like you have to leave, because Ajax are still a big team, too. But if you get the chance to join a bigger side, you take it.\" Eriksen stressed that one of the main reasons why he joined Ajax at the age of 16 is the club\'s reputation for giving promising youngsters the chance to prove their worth, regardless of their age, but added that it\'s hard for the Godenzonen to remain competitive following the ongoing exodus of their best players. \"One of the reasons I came here is because it didn’t feel like too big of a step up from my previous club. I knew I could handle it here and develop. It’s not like you go to a club and then have the feeling that you won’t get playing time until you’re 25. \"You know that when you come to this club and do well in training, you get your chance, and that’s what happened with me. \"The club want to be champions every year and play in the Champions League, but it’s difficult with such a young team and so many injuries. Ajax of course don’t want to be a feeder club, but they realise that is the situation right now.\" The 20-year-old playmaker has made 65 Eredivisie appearances for Ajax since his official debut for the Amsterdam giants, scoring 11 goals in the process. He won the KNVB Beker in 2009-10, and added the Eredivisie title to his trophy cabinet last season. Eriksen has a contract with Ajax until the summer of 2014.
