Eriksen: La Liga suits me better than the Premier League

I knew I could handle it here and develop. It’s not like you go to a club and then have the feeling that you won’t get playing time until you’re 25. \"You know that when you come to this club and do well in training, you get your chance, and that’s what happened with me. \"The club want to be champions every year and play in the Champions League, but it’s difficult with such a young team and so many injuries. Ajax of course don’t want to be a feeder club, but they realise that is the situation right now.\" The 20-year-old playmaker has made 65 Eredivisie appearances for Ajax since his official debut for the Amsterdam giants, scoring 11 goals in the process. He won the KNVB Beker in 2009-10, and added the Eredivisie title to his trophy cabinet last season. Eriksen has a contract with Ajax until the summer of 2014.
