Dirk Kuyt is targeting a flawless finish to Liverpool\'s Barclays Premier League campaign as the Reds look to eradicate the one-point gap that separates them and neighbours Everton in the table. Liverpool have five games remaining in their league campaign, including a tough clash against Chelsea just three days after the FA Cup final versus Roberto Di Matteo\'s men at Wembley. The Reds need 12 points from their outstanding fixtures to draw level with last year\'s tally of 58 and Kuyt is desperate to make it two wins on the bounce in the league when Roy Hodgson is welcomed back to Anfield on Sunday afternoon. \"We want to win every game that we have left in the league,\" Kuyt told the official LFC magazine. \"That\'s still really important for us. We want to finish as well as we possibly can and if we can do that, we can take the momentum into next season. \"Sometimes we\'ve been really close to winning games and we have felt that we\'ve deserved to win them. But you can\'t feel sorry for yourselves. At the end of the day you have to look forward and I think the way we played against Blackburn showed that we weren\'t feeling sorry for ourselves. \"We can\'t look back. We want to change things and we will be doing our best to try and do that. We will be more satisfied if we can win as many of our remaining games as possible and have a strong run-in and a strong finish. \"That is our target. We are playing for Liverpool Football Club and when you are doing that you have to win every game.\" Kuyt reflected on the Reds\' last game in the Premier League against Blackburn and the Dutchman concluded that the belief and determination the team displayed on a frantic night at Ewood Park can inspire Kenny Dalglish\'s men to a strong finish in the league. \"I think it was very important to get that win at Blackburn,\" said Kuyt. \"The team played really well in the first 20 minutes and we kept believing in what we were doing (towards the end). We always felt we could score another goal from a set-piece or a cross and that\'s what happened. \"It was good that we showed this belief and that will help us get better as a team. We know that we have lost too many games in the Premier League this season but we still have something in front of us.\" Kuyt is keen to play his part in the Reds\' run-in and add to his tally of two league strikes for the season with goals that will help the side to a strong finish. \"I am working really hard in training and I am feeling fitter than ever,\" insisted the No.18. \"So whenever the manager needs me, and hopefully it is for every game until the end of the season, I will be more than ready to show what I\'ve got.\"
