The Chelsea defender is pleased with his recent form and believes the former Manchester United skipper was wrong to criticise him so harshly earlier in the campaign.Chelsea defender David Luiz believes Gary Neville was disrespectful to criticise him earlier in the season.The former Manchester United captain, now a TV pundit for Sky Sports, mocked the Brazilian by claiming he played like he was being controlled by a 10-year-old on a PlayStation.But Luiz, who jokingly responded to his comments by posting \"Gary Neville I love u\" on Twitter, believes he has proved his doubters wrong this season.He told The Daily Mail: \"I know Gary Neville in the past was a very good player but he sometimes needs respect.\"Gary Neville say bad, other people say good. I just need to show with my work on the pitch. I respond like this.\"When Gary Neville say this, [he] don\'t respect me. Now the stats show I am up there among the best.\"I just know that in all the games that I am on the pitch, I just try to show my best. I work a lot, tackle, I give my heart on the pitch.\"
