Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant said Thursday he planned to play Sunday against Pittsburgh despite suffering from a fractured left index finger. The injury occurred during a comeback win over Cincinnati last Sunday, the Cowboys\' fourth victory in five games. The Cowboys have sought multiple medical opinions to determine if Bryant risks further damage to the finger if he plays. Bryant has been told he needs surgery, but he has decided to delay it and plans to compete with a split on the finger. Bryant went through a practice session Thursday, but he was limited to running routes without making catches. \"Only thing you need to know is I\'m playing,\" Bryant said after the practice session. Coach Jason Garrett said, however, questions remain about Bryant\'s availability for Sunday\'s game. \"We have a decision to make as to what to do,\" Garrett said. \"Dez is certainly a part of that decision. The medical analysis is part of that decision as well.\" Bryant has 75 receptions for 1,028 yards and nine touchdowns this year. Dallas (7-6) is tied with Washington for second place in the NFC East, one game behind the New York Giants.
