The Yemeni army and resistance killed seven militants of Houthis and supporters of former president Ali Abdullah Saleh and injured 11 others after they attacked a military and resistance position in east Taiz city, military council in Taiz said on Sunday.
The militias continued to shell positions of military and housing areas in Taiz in which nine people were injured including three civilians.
Meanwhile, popular resistance sources denied claims saying that militias controlled a military camp west of Taiz.
The sources asserted that the clashes between the military and the militias continue at the camp’s surroundings and that camp is still under the control of the military and resistance forces
