An International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) helicopter crashed in western Afghanistan, the alliance said in a statement. "An International Security Assistance Force helicopter made a forced landing in western Afghanistan August 3," ISAF said. The source further added, "All crew members have been recovered with no reported fatalities and the site of the incident is secure." "What caused the aircraft to make the forced landing is under investigation, however initial reporting indicates there was no enemy activity in the area at the time of the crash," it noted. The statement did not disclose further information regarding the exact location of the incident where the helicopter made forced landing.
