Hundreds of extremist settlers Monday dawn stormed what they claim to be “Joseph Tomb”, east of Nablus city and north of the West Bank, under the protection of Israeli forces.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said in a statement that violent clashes broke out between Israeli soldiers and Palestinian youths in the area as buses carrying settlers arrived near the Beit Furik checkpoint, south of the city.
During the clashes, the occupation forces fired tear gas canisters, bullets and sound bombs at Palestinians, leaving a number of them suffocated and injured.
