Israeli occupation forces detained Tuesday at least 12 Palestinians in multiple overnight raids across the West Bank and East Jerusalem.The Israeli occupation forces detained one Palestinian after storming his home in Dura town, southwest of Hebron, in the southern West Bank, Palestinian news agency (WAFA) reported.
They also conducted similar raids into Yatta and Beit Ummar towns, south and north of Hebron.Coordinator of a local committee that resists settlement activity Ratib Al Jabour said the Israeli troops ransacked several homes and detained a Palestinian woman during the raid into Yatta.
The occupation forces also detained two Palestinians, summoned another and wreaked havoc into a number of homes during the raid into Beit Ummar. In Bethlehem, troops conducted a raid into Aida refugee camp, north of the city, where they detained a Palestinian.
Another Palestinian was detained during a raid that sparked clashes in Deheisheh refugee camp, south of Bethlehem.Elsewhere in the northern West Bank, the Israeli troops detained two Palestinians in Tel village, south of Nablus, and four Palestinians, including a 15-year-old minor in Azzun town, east of Qalqiliya.
Meanwhile, the Israeli police detained a Palestinian resident of Silwan in East Jerusalem after raiding his family home.
