A Palestinian young man was killed when Israeli forces shot him down during clashes eastern Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, medical sources said on Friday.
Mahmoud Mohamed Said, 20, was shot in his head during the clashes, Health Ministry spokesman Ashraf al Qodra said.
A total of 40 Palestinians were injured, including 31 with live bullets, during today's clashes with Israeli forces, he added.
Also, 14 Palestinians suffered from suffocation when Israeli forces fired teargas bombs at them, Qodra further said.
Earlier, clashes erupted between Palestinians and Israeli forces after a number of Palestinians organized rallies near the eastern border of the Gaza Strip.
