Israeli forces Monday arrested 13 Palestinians, including members of the Palestinian Legislative Council, ex-detainees and former ministers, during a predawn large-scale raid and arrest campaign across the West Bank, according to media sources.
Army forces stormed the city of Jenin and the nearby town of Arraba, where they arrested MPs Khalid Yahia and Ibrahim Dahbour, according to WAFA correspondents.
Army also arrested MP Fadel Hamdan in Ramallah, MP Riyad Raddad and MP Fathy Qar’awi in Tulkarm and MP Riyad al-Amleh in the village of Qabalan to the south of Nablus.
Israeli forces further arrested MP Mohammad Abu-Jahisha in the Hebron village of Idhna and former Minister of Religious Affairs, Nayef Rajoub, in the city of Dora, near Hebron.
In the meantime, forces arrested former Minister of Finance Omar Abdal-Razeq in Salfit and Professor Abd-as-Sattar Qassem, an associate professor at Najah National University.
