Israel completed the construction of 42 kilometers of the separation wall between Israel and the West Bank.
According to Israeli Radio, army sources announced that the concrete barrier was erected between the Palestinian village of Tarkumia, northwest of Hebron city, and Meitar crossing, south of city and adjacent to the Meitar settlement.
The sources did not reveal the completion percentage of the cement walls, fences, trenches and closed military roads, which are expected to reach more than 700 kilometers.
Based on UN figures, published before the Israeli announcement, about 214 kilometres still need construction and most of the separation wall passes inside the West Bank.
