The number of Palestinians killed as result of Israeli air raid and artillery operations Monday has reached 112 people, including children, Palestinian medical sources said.
The sources said in press remarks more than 20 Palestinians killed this evening shortly after "Iftar" (breakfast) time.
Palestinian Jihad Mahmoud Al-Maghrabi, 22, Fadi Basheer Al-Abadelah, 22, were killed in Khan Younus, south of Gaza, the sourced added.
The sources accused Israeli military of committing a bloody massacre which resulted in killing 11 people, among them five children, and around 40 injured due to shelling to a number of buildings in central Gaza.
Israeli occupation forces were shelling a mosque in Gaza, which resulted in killing three people, while five other Palestinians were killed in Israeli shelling in Dir Balah in central Gaza.
Two other Palestinians were killed in Al-Zaiton neighborhood in central Gaza.
Earlier, the Israeli warplanes pounded two apartment buildings in Gaza City killing at least 12 people, including five children, and wounding 45 others.
The death toll is expected to rise further since 18 of the injured are in critical condition, local medical sources said.
