A group of extremist settlers set up a new settlement outpost on Palestinian own lands in the Deir Ist Nazmi Salman,iya village, northwest of Salfit city in the West Bank.
The Head of the Palestinian Committee against the Wall and Settlement in Deir Istiya, Nazmi Salman, said in a statement on Wednesday that a group of radical settlers believed to be from the settlement of Novim, set up a number of tents and wooden caravans on Deir Istiya lands.
He pointed out that electricity poles and lights were delivered to the new settlement, adding that a road was also rehabilitated between the settlement of Novim and the outpost.
