More people have suffered death and injury in Gaza in the past few hours, as a result of Israeli military attacks, announced a spokesman for the Palestinian ministry of health in Gaza, Ashraf Al-Qodra, in statements to the press on Tuesday.
Four Palestinian people were killed this evening due to Israeli shelling of the central region of Gaza, said the spokesman, adding that a young man was killed and another injured as they were targeted by an Israeli air raid on the eastern part of the city of Khan Younis.
Moreover, two more young men were killed in east Rafah, in southern Gaza, which is currently being shelled relentlessly by Israeli forces, said the spokesman, adding that four other people, among them a 15 year old boy and a 66 year old man, were also killed by Israeli rocket fire in the Shujaeia neighborhood in the eastern part of Gaza.
Furthermore, he said a four year old girl and a young woman were killed in the city of Beit Hanoun and another young man was killed in Hay Tuffah in east Gaza.
A seventy year old woman and another fifty year old one were killed in an Israeli air raid in the Zaytoon area whereas another woman was killed from a mortar shell in east Rafah, said the spokesman.
He said by 7:00 pm local time, up to 632 Palestinians were killed and about 3760 were injured from the Israeli attacks on Gaza.
