President Mahmoud Abbas Tuesday told members of the Jewish organization Kabbalah that the Palestinian Authority is committed to a serious peace process based on international resolutions. He said during a meeting with a Kabbalah delegation headed by Yehuda Berg that PA supports peace that would establish a Palestinian state within 1967 borders and East Jerusalem as it capital. Abbas briefed the delegation on the latest peace developments following his letter to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He briefed the delegation on Palestinian prisoners suffering in Israeli jails following weeks of hunger strike, affirming PA’s efforts to save their lives.
