A rose-coloured iPhone became of the unlikeliest heroes emerging from the Las Vegas shooting. The mass shooting left 59 dead and hundreds injured. The phone became a hero after it took a bullet for its owner.
According to the Evening Standard, the unidentified woman told her cab driver on her way home that her device saved her life, the New York Post reported. The woman was one of the many that fled the scene of the worst mass shooting in US history.
Jason K. Morrell, an Executive Producer for US Political Coverage and ?State of America' tweeted out the photo of the woman's phone. The tweet read: 'Incredible! Gunman's bullet hit a woman's iPhone in hand fleeing the firing. Just inches away from her body -via Scott Nish #LasVegasStrong.'
Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock killed 59 people and left 400 wounded during a concert in Las Vegas. He was reported to have modified his semi-automatic rifles to fire rapidly and continuously - simulating fully automatic fire.
