The United States welcomed Monday the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)'s initiative to put an end to the crisis in Yemen. In a press conference, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said that "We welcome the GCC's initiative to address the Yemeni crisis". "Negotiation is underway now. It is a dynamic process. We encourage all involved parties to hold a dialogue to reach a solution supported by the Yemeni people", Clinton said. The Secretary of State renewed the support of the United States to the GCC's efforts and the mechanism of the Gulf initiative to ensure ending the ongoing crisis in Yemen
