Dr. Yussuf Issa Hassan Al Sabri, UAE Ambassador to Poland, met on Monday with Tadeusz Koscinski, Deputy State Secretary, Ministry of Economic Development in Poland, and discussed ways of developing co-operation in economic, commercial and investment fields.
The meeting was held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Economic Development in Poland.
Al Sabri stressed the desire of the country to promote collaboration with Poland in all economic areas, and noted that the UAE embassy in Warsaw is working to enhance these ties.
Both sides addressed the importance of achieving their desired goals through the exchange of commercial delegations and business visits, as well as by holding economic conferences and seminars, which would positively affect economic, commercial and investment relations.
They also spoke about the second economic conference to be held on 24th October in Warsaw, under the patronage of the UAE’s embassy and the Polish Ministry of Economic Development. The event will focus on the economic development between both countries, with the spotlight on Europe under the theme "Emirates and Europe Economic Forum."
Tadeusz Koscinski,noted that the UAE is an important partner-country and a gateway to the Middle East and other regions in Asia and Africa.
He emphasised his country’s keenness to increase Polish exports to the UAE and, in turn, attract investment to Poland.
He added that Poland is considering participating in Dubai Expo 2020.
