Foreign Minister of Switzerland Didier Burkhalter held here on Tuesday talks with his Sudanese Counterpart Ibrahim Ghandour, who is currently visiting Bern.
The talks dealt with the relations between the two countries and issues of common concern.
The two sides also tackled the files of combating terrorism, illegal immigration, human trafficking and the role played by Sudan in this regard, in addition to supporting Sudan to join the World Trade Organization (WTO) and exempting its foreign debt.
The Sudanese Foreign Minister started today a two-day visit to Switzerland, the first in 20 years.
