Source denies presence of Syrian fighters in Libya

A Syrian media source today denied allegations about the presence of Syrian volunteers fighting alongside the Libyan government, saying the aim of such news is \"encroaching upon Syria\'\'s position towards the developments Libya is going through\". The official Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) said the source dismissed as \"absolutely baseless\" reports broadcast by some television channels alleging the presence of Syrian fighters and added that Syria is hopeful Libyans would soon emerge from the crisis. The source said, \"Such news is usually broadcast by television channels known for their hostility to Syria and fabrication of false news.\"
