Saudi Arabia’s deputy crown prince and defence minister Prince Mohammad Bin Salman Tuesday met in Moscow with Russian President Vladimir Putin for talks on efforts to find a solution to the Syrian crisis.
“We hold contacts at the political and military levels and cooperate on resolving crises, including Syria”, Putin said, adding that Russia looked forward to Saudi King Salman’s first visit to Moscow.
The Russian leader also thanked Riyadh on its position regarding the oil market, adding that the two countries’ joint efforts would help achieve stability in the global oil market.
Prince Mohammad noted “the many common points” between the two countries, adding that they had a “clear mechanism to transcend all existing differences”.
