The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud made a telephone call with French President-elect Emmanuel Macron, congratulating him on being elected as president of France, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
During the conversation, King Salman expressed his country's anticipation to consolidate historical as well as strategic relations binding the two countries, in all domains, and to work to gather, in order to bring about peace and stability, in the world.
The French President-elect expressed thanks and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for his sentiments towards the French Republic and people, and asserted keenness to enhance bilateral relations in all fields, and to work with the Kingdom, to solve all issues of interest to the region and the world, alike, SPA said.
