Russian President Vladimir Putin met today with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who is currently visiting Turkey.
During the meeting, which was held in Sochi, the two leaders discussed ways to enhance relations between the two countries.Talks also dealt the developments of the Syrian crisis and ways to find a solution to it in addition to a number of regional and international issues of common concern.
"It is very good that we have the possibility to hold a working meeting and talk about the main issues of bilateral cooperation on international issues, including the Syrian crisis," the Russian president said during the meeting.
For his part, Erdogan said that Russia and Turkey in "joint steps can affect the situation in the Middle East, and change the fate of the region.
