Cabinet Affairs Minister,d here today, in the presence of Shaikh Hussam bin Isa Al Khalifa, the President of the Federation of World Peace and Love (FOWPAL), Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze, and his accompanying delegation, currently on a visit to the kingdom.
The minister welcomed FOWPAL’s delegation’s visit, noting that it reflects the extent of the international appreciation of the efforts exerted by the kingdom for the sake of promoting regional and global security and stability.
The Kingdom of Bahrain, under its wise leadership, adopts a policy that believes in the importance of peace and mutual understanding among nations and peoples, and backs every international effort seeking to direct human potentials toward development and progress, Al-Mutawa said.
The minister valued highly the efforts exerted by FOWPAL, and its noble mission and goals aimed at promoting the culture of peace, as well as consolidating the values of co-existence and love for the sake of building a world in which peace and stability prevail.
FOWPAL President expressed deepest thanks and appreciation to the Kingdom of Bahrain and its leadership for their adoption of policies that support every initiative aimed at disseminating peace and love among nations and peoples.
He lauded His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa’s stances and initiatives in support of global peace, which, he said, gained him many international awards well-deservedly, citing the “Flame of Peace” Award conferred on him by the Association for the Furtherance of Peace.
Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze pointed out that Bahrain boasts a tolerant society that is distinguished by its openness, co-existence and cultural diversity, noting that he is looking forward to greater cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Federation of World Peace and Love for the sake of consolidating peace efforts across the world.
