Prime Minister Marouf Al Bakhit on Wednesday stressed that Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, plays a key role in promoting moderation in the Middle East. During a meeting with Head of the Global Forum for Moderation Al Sadeq Al Mahdi, the prime minister said Jordan always calls for renouncing violence and embracing dialogue, referring to the 2004 Amman Message which aims at claryfiyng the true and moderate image of Islam. The premier hailed the forum’s efforts to build a moderate Muslim speech that accepts the other, renounces all forms of extremism and entrenches a culture of dialogue to arrive at solutions to various issues. Al Mahdi delivered a briefing on the forum’s efforts and activities across the world.
