Passengers of the bus that was attacked by an armed terrorist group on Monday in the village of al-Majdal in Hama governorate related the details of the attack which led the death of one woman and injured a number of passengers. Bus driver Haitham Yousef told Syrian TV that he was driving from Salhab to Damascus at night when he encountered hooded people on bikes near the village Ma'arzab and drove past them. He said that after passing the village he took the Mhardeh highway towards Hama, and when he neared al-Majdal the bus came under heavy gunfire from a building to its right followed by more gunfire from an olive orchard to its left, but he drove on despite the injuries he and some passengers sustained, arriving eventually at al-Shiha village. The son of the woman who died in the attack said that he was sitting beside his mother, and while he was turning around to talk to a friend in the seat behind them the gunfire started, injuring his mother mortally.
